Thanks to her extensive training, Geneva was thoroughly equipped to compete successfully, achieving accolades in both Ms. Black’s Expo and Ms. Teen Indiana. She was honored to be a guest speaker at “The Girl Power Summit” in Leesville, Louisiana. Her background provided countless opportunities, granting her the confidence to walk runways, host fashion events, and deliver presentations on stage.
Two pivotal experiences inspired Geneva to write “Living Your Best Life.” The first was receiving an earnest letter from a young woman expressing gratitude for her influence. The letter stated, “Thank you for all you did,” and Geneva was moved by the unanticipated recognition of her impact. She hopes to share the story behind this heartfelt letter in forthcoming motivational sessions.
Geneva was particularly affected by the gesture because receiving a handwritten note is uncommon in today’s world, which is dominated by rapid communication methods like emails and texts. The effort the young woman took to pen and find her address spoke volumes about the significant impact Geneva had on her life.
Additionally, Geneva has noticed many gifted individuals leading discontented and mediocre lives due to anxiety, self-doubt, and a lack of self-assurance. Witnessing these challenges has inspired her to impart her wisdom in “Living Your Best Life,” aiming to assist others in cultivating healthier and happier existences by promoting self-love and respect for others. Geneva firmly believes that genuine love for others emerges from first learning to love oneself.
Throughout the book, she includes “My Truth,” where she shares her convictions supported by Biblical scriptures. These truths serve as guidance and can also serve as affirmations for readers encountering challenges in similar aspects of their lives.
